Santa Clarita Real Estate Leah Pollack Enviroment Is Solar the new Granite

On the heels of the city's announcement SANTA CLARITA REACHES STATE-MANDATED RECYCLING GOALS! ... Let's chat about recycling here in the Santa Clarita Area. If you own your home and you purchase trash service you are probably provided with those different bins for: Yard Trimmings, Recycling and "All other" Trash.

But did you know that if you RENT, your property manager can take advantage of similar programs for you and your building to do your part? AND if you work here in Santa Clarita there are recycling programs and incentives for business and building owners to take part in recycling not only hazardous waste, but paper and the like! For you and your team where you live and work...

In other News "Enviro-friendly amenities" for the home and office building - Is Solar the new Granite? With new home and commercial builders adding Solar Panels and other energy-chic items to structures, Will you see in the next 5-10 years older buildings retro fitted to compete for buyers? It is an interesting consideration and I am curious how it will play out. For now, I see older homes and office buildings with maple cabinets, copper plumbing and granite counter tops ... how much of these items will be the market demand and how much will be state, city or even federal regulations? Perhaps we might even see new point of sale requirements.

Point of Sale for property in essence means items that must be fixed or implemented PRIOR to the completion of the sale or as we call it the "close of escrow".
It is a hot topic, one I am sure state and city officials are not taking lightly and nor should we as potential or current property owners and property make ting professionals. So if you are looking to check out the latest in enviro-chicness keep you eyes to the media and of course give a call to local companies who offer 'solar and the such' upgrades.

Team, I hope you found the above helpful and keep providing feedback! Together we can accomplish great things.

Enjoy the day!
